Abid Hussain

Managing Director, MBU Corporate Finance

Abid is a senior investment banker with over 15 years’ experience of working in the financial capital markets. Most recently he was Head of Real Estate Finance at a boutique investment house in Mayfair and Director of Fixed Income at Mizuho International PLC where he worked in High Yield Credit Sales and Trading. Here he built upon and created a vast network of relationships from large Institutional Pension and Insurance funds, Specialist Hedge Funds through to the traditional global Asset Managers.

Prior to this, Abid worked at both Gottex London and Kleinwort Benson Bank as Head of High Yield Fixed Income. Between 2004-2012, Abid traded High Yield and Investment Grade Credit for Citigroup based in London.

With Abid’s specialist knowledge of fundraisings at primary and secondary levels, he directs the overall strategic direction of the Corporate Finance business with a technical background in Finance and Controls.

Abid graduated from London Cass Business School in Mathematical Sciences in 2004.
